A fast and efficient mower for fine turf areas.  With three cutting heads and six overlapping fast-rotating swing-back blades, the fine clippings are evenly scattered, leaving a smooth, clean finish.

Excellent for fairways, parks and sports arenas – equally comfortable on fine turf and in rough grass.  Front and rear rollers with side skids ensure an enclosed, safe cutting chamber, prevent scalping, and allow cutting over kerbs and edges.

SWEEPER COLLECTOR

HOWARD’s Grass Sweeper HSW collects grass clippings, leaves, twigs etc. into a steel hopper, which can be neatly emptied from the tractor seat.  Also suitable for picking up empty tin cans, polystyrene food-boxes, plastic bags and other litter. Labour saving alternative to manual raking and sweeping of : Golf Courses, Parks, Sportfields and Fairgrounds. Four rows of easily changeable polybrush combs are fitted horizontally onto a rotor shaft.  Wide profile rear turf tyres – and pneumatic front castor wheels, which also serve as height adjuster.

Designed for sweeping and collecting light debris off uneven terrain – primarily turf, but works equally well on hard surfaces such as running tracks, dirt roads and parking lots, where, however, more bristle wear must be anticipated.  

AERATORS

Aerating of turf areas, grassland and fields – is becoming increasingly vital, to overcome the hardpan effect from vehicle and human traffic – which otherwise inhibits healthy growth, moisture penetration and fertilizer uptake. HOWARD’s solution, i.e. fast-rotating slitting blades producing clean verti-cuts to depth of 15cm with 25 cm distance between the slits – is one of the most effective methods available.Puddles are efficiently drained and the slits will remain functional for long time, without visual scars. Full width rear roller with dual function of depth control setting and turf restoration, leaving minimum surface disturbance.
